Co-founder, President and Chief Executive Officer
As President and CEO, Mr. Johnson is responsible for leading Kadro Solutions' strategic vision, developing the business, and directing the company's operations.
Mr. Johnson has over 17 years experience in software engineering and engineering management applied in the areas of information technology, product development and professional consulting services. He graduated from N.C. State University in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and in 1987 with a Masters of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. He has published numerous technical papers and holds two U.S. Patents.
Prior to forming Kadro Solutions, Mr. Johnson worked at iXL, Inc. where he held the positions of Sr. Vice President of Operations and Vice President of Software Engineering for the Charlotte and Raleigh locations. Mr. Johnson managed and grew the staff and operations to deliver e-Business solutions for scores of Fortune 500 clients in a variety of industries including financial services, high tech, manufacturing, transportation, healthcare, media and entertainment, and utilities.
Prior to iXL, Mr. Johnson worked for Nortel Networks in Research Triangle Park, NC where he held several positions in the Research & Development and Information Systems organizations. Mr. Johnson has also worked for Research Triangle Institute, N.C. State University and Naval Research Laboratories.
Co-founder, Chief Technology Officer
As CTO, Mr. Allen is responsible for leading the overall technical direction of the company including the development of software architectures and frameworks as well as working with customers on designing and developing solutions to meet their business needs.
Mr. Allen has more than nine years experience in software engineering applied in the areas of product development and professional consulting services. He graduated from Virginia Tech in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering.
Prior to forming Kadro Solutions, Mr. Allen held the position of software architect at iXL, Inc. where he led the design and delivery of several enterprise-class e-Business solutions including the development of a general-purpose web application framework reused across multiple engagements.
Prior to iXL, Mr. Allen worked for Nortel Networks in Research Triangle Park, NC where he developed innovative Internet Telephony products applying real-time, object-oriented architectures and frameworks implemented in both Java and Smalltalk.
Mr. Allen has extensive experience in developing high-end web applications, integrating mobile solutions with web applications, database design, developing call processing protocols and connection-management systems, and distributed computing using a variety of technologies and architectures.
Co-founder, Vice President Product Development
As VP Product Development, Mr. Bowser is responsible for directing the software engineering and quality assurance staff at Kadro Solutions.
Mr. Bowser has more than 17 years experience in software engineering applied in the areas of product development, quality assurance and professional consulting services. He graduated from Albright College in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1987 with a Master of Information and Computer Science degree.
Prior to forming Kadro Solutions, Mr. Bowser held the position of Software Architect at iXL, Inc. where he led the design and delivery of several e-Business solutions including gepolymerland.com that was recognized in 2000 as one of the best B2B e-Commerce web solutions by Forbes Magazine.
Prior to iXL, Mr. Bowser worked for Nortel Networks in Research Triangle Park, NC where he developed real-time, object-oriented systems in both Java and Smalltalk. Prior to Nortel Networks, he worked at Data General Corporation where he developed network-based performance monitoring applications for Unix systems.
Mr. Bowser has extensive experience in developing high-end web applications, developing call-processing software, distributed computing, quality assurance, and user interface design.
Co-founder, Chief Solutions Architect
As Chief Solutions Architect, Mr. VandeLinde is responsible for leading the development of tools and technologies to make Kadro Solutions' software applications and frameworks easy to use and integrate as well as directing Kadro Solutions' mobile solutions. In addition, Mr. VandeLinde is reponsible for directing Kadro Solutions' managed services and customer service.
Mr. VandeLinde has more than 13 years experience in software engineering applied in the areas of product development and professional consulting services. He graduated from Duke University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
Prior to forming Kadro Solutions, Mr. VandeLinde held the position of Sr. Technical Lead at iXL, Inc. where he led the delivery of several e-Business solutions for various customers in the financial services, retail, and healthcare industries.
Prior to iXL, Mr. VandeLinde worked for Nortel Networks in Research Triangle Park, NC where he developed object-oriented systems in Java, C++, and Smalltalk.
Mr. VandeLinde has extensive experience in developing innovative high-end web applications, mobile computing applications, object-oriented distributed systems and Internet telephony products.
