Rick Johnson

President and CEO

Rick is President and CEO of Kadro Solutions, Inc., which he co-founded in 2001. Rick is responsible for leading Kadro Solutions' strategic vision, directing the operations of the organization, developing the business, and ensuring satisfaction and loyalty with customers, vendors and employees. Rick has over 25 years experience in software engineering and engineering management in the areas of software product development, professional consulting services, and information technology.

Rick graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering in 1984 and Master of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 1987. Prior to Kadro Solutions, Rick has worked at Internet consulting firm iXL in Charlotte, Nortel Networks and Research Triangle Institute in RTP, and Naval Research Labs in Washington DC.

Malcolm Allen

Chief Technology Officer

Malcolm is CTO of Kadro Solutions, Inc., which he co-founded in 2001. Malcolm is responsible for leading the overall technical direction of the company, including the development of software architectures and frameworks as well as working with customers on designing and developing their solutions. Malcolm is passionate about learning our customer's business and building solutions to meet 100% of their business needs.

He has over 15 years experience in software engineering applied in the areas of product development and professional services consulting. He has extensive experience in developing enterprise-level web applications, integrating mobile solutions with web applications, database design, and distributed computing using a variety of technologies and architectures. Malcolm graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering. Prior to Kadro Solutions, Malcolm worked at Internet consulting firm iXL in Raleigh and Nortel Networks in RTP, developing web application frameworks and large-scale web applications in both Java and Smalltalk.

John Bowser

Chief Operations Officer

John is COO of Kadro Solutions, Inc., which he co-founded in 2001. John directs the operations of Kadro and is responsible for the delivery of our software and managing the software engineering and quality assurance staff. John is also responsible for leading the development of our Quality Assurance Auditing and Inspections offering as well as managing the product development of our e-Commerce platform, Kadro Merchant.

John has more than 20 years of experience in software engineering applied in the areas of product development, quality assurance and professional consulting services. He graduated from Albright College in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1987 with a Master of Information and Computer Science degree. John has extensive experience in developing high-end web applications, distributed computing applications, call-processing software, quality assurance, and user interface design.

Prior to Kadro Solutions, John worked at Internet consulting firm iXL in Raleigh and Nortel Networks and Data General Corporation in RTP.

Scott VandeLinde

Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Customer Service

Scott is CIO of Kadro Solutions, Inc., which he co-founded in 2001. Scott is responsible for Kadro's managed hosting solutions, system's engineering, networking, and computing infrastructure. He also manages the staff for customer service and support and is responsible for leading the product development of our Learning Management System offering.

Scott has 20 years experience in software engineering applied in the areas of web application development, mobile computing applications, and distributed systems. Scott graduated from Duke University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Prior to Kadro Solutions, Scott worked at Internet consulting firm iXL in Raleigh and Nortel Networks in RTP.

Ty Rhudy

Director of Business Development

Ty is Director of Business Development for Kadro Solutions, Inc. where he is focused on creating strategic partner relationships with our customers. Ty is responsible for Kadro's business development, client relationship management strategy, and sales and marketing plans.

Ty has over 10 years of experience developing and growing partnerships with a variety of established National brands and enterprise accounts covering all aspects of client engagement. Ty graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Kenan-Flagler Business School, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration in 1998. Prior to Kadro Solutions, Ty worked at Muzak with multiple roles within their National and Major Accounts division.
