Boat Outfitters

It's been a great start to the new year here at Kadro, and we are looking forward to many new projects with our clients in 2019.

For our first client spotlight of the year, we'd like to highlight Teak Isle, a Manufacturer-to-Consumer company specializing in creating custom boating and marine applications. Teak Isle operates the B2C website Boat Outfitters for selling marine parts, accessories and custom engineered marine projects.

One of our goals for 2019 is to help spread awareness of new eCommerce companies that we are working with that can help you maximize your investment in eCommerce. Metrical has launched a new offering to increase online conversion rates by using their artificial intelligence technology.

Introducing Teak Isle

BoatOutfitters.com is one of three eCommerce sites provided by Teak Isle. Teak Isle selected Kadro and Magento Commerce Cloud to evolve and expand their online business.

The BoatOutfitters.com project included a responsive web design and implementation, migration of their existing ASP/.Net site and data to Magento Commerce, integration with Epicor ERP, and integration of Nextopia for site search.

New Technology Spotlight

Metrical uses predictive AI to help retailers dramatically increase their online conversion rates, in some cases by more than 20%! The year is coming to an end, and we truly hope it's been a good one for you.

For our end-of-year client spotlight, we'd like to highlight National Wholesale. Since 1952, National Wholesale has provided women's clothing specializing in comfort and style. We have upgraded ShopNational.com from Magento 1 to Magento 2.2 Commerce Cloud.

Our Technology Partner spotlight this month is Worldpay, formerly known as Vantiv. They provide PCI compliant credit card payment solutions to power a merchant's omni-channel solution across eCommerce, point of sale, and order management.

Introducing National Wholesale

For over 65 years, National Wholesale brings comfortable fashion to every woman’s home. National Wholesale is a vibrant company with a deep history as a retail cataloger and a strategic vision towards eCommerce and growth. They are dedicated to treating their customers like family. They provide casual apparel including lingerie, hosiery to loungewear, and everything in between.

For this project, National Wholesale required the following:

  • Site migration from Magento 1 to Magento 2.2 Commerce Cloud
  • Improved merchandising automation with bulk product loading
  • Improved data integration with their IBM AS/400 backend system
  • Use of Worldpay’s payment solution for better PCI
  • New state-of-the-art site search with Reflektion

These solutions enable National Wholesale to continue to grow both their traditional retail catalog business and their online business.

REEDS Jewelers

As we prepare for and head into the 2018 Holiday season, we want to spotlight our longest standing client of 17.5 years (they were our first client from March 2001) - REEDS Jewelers of Wilmington NC.

Founded in 1946, REEDS Jewelers is a full-service multi-channel jewelry retailer with stores in 13 states, and an industry leading ecommerce website, REEDS.com.

Our Technology Partner Spotlight this month is Reflektion. They provide a unified customer engagement platform that provides an industry-leading site search and personalized category page management.

Introducing REEDS Jewelers

For over 17 years, Kadro has worked with REEDS Jewelers as their eCommerce solution provider and partner. Over that time, we have delivered on seven site redesigns, countless custom site features and integrations, and evolved their online business to an omni-channel solution.

In March 2018, Kadro and REEDS successfully launched the replatform of REEDS.com on Magento Commerce.

The success of this project has largely been measured by achieving parity with well established business processes, required custom features, and mission critical back-office integrations required to operate their online business. This effort was a large collaborative effort with REEDS' eCommerce and IT team, and many technology partners including Reflektion, Oracle Bronto, Worldpay, Riskified, Synchrony, Avalara, Coinbase, and Rackspace.

Headquartered in Durham, NC, LC Industries is truly a unique story. LC Industries is a not-for-profit corporation that has grown and diversified over the past 80 years to become one of the largest employers of people who are blind in the United States. They provide manufacturing and distribution services for retail and e-commerce. The team here at Kadro is proud to be working with them.

StayWell Krames Patient Education

For the month of August, we are celebrating the launch of the B2B site for StayWell's Krames Patient Education - www.kramesstore.com.

StayWell's Krames division produces patient education materials to medical offices, hospitals, government, and specialty organizations.

StayWell partnered with Kadro to have us replatform their existing Oracle iStore site to Magento 2.2 Commerce cloud.

StayWell selected Magento 2.2 Commerce cloud to re-platform their aging Oracle iStore implementation.
